“In the end, our goal is the same as our partner’s: to create a business.” – Florian Guida, Export Accountant at Inalpi.
This mindset matches perfectly with our approach at Wabel, where we prioritize building meaningful connections through B2B meetings and fostering shared success. Inalpi has been a leading name in the dairy industry since 1966. With a strong emphasis on quality, animal welfare, and sustainability, they strive to deliver exceptional dairy products sourced from Piedmontese milk. Their approach to the cheese-making process reflects this commitment, ensuring that their cheese types and dairy products meet the highest standards.
Their participation in our Summits has led to the establishment of impactful partnerships that continue to thrive today. Through our Summits held in new cities and business areas every time, Inalpi has opened exciting opportunities to engage with importers and exporters from around the globe, especially in the food service and retail sectors.
We had an insightful conversation with Florian Guida, Export Accountant at Inalpi, during the Wabel Summit for a great networking experience.
Please introduce yourself as well as your company to us.
My name is Florian, and I’m working for Inalpi. We are a dairy company based in the northwest of Italy. I’ve been working in the company for 5 years, and I’m here with my colleague.
What has been your experience with Wabel?
This is not our first experience with Wabel, and I’d like to emphasize that we are here because the previous events were positive and very successful for us. We always generated and created beneficial partnerships with new people, and we are trying to expand our portfolio of partners in many new countries. Wabel is a perfect situation—a perfect moment to get this partnership.
How has your experience been with Wabel’s B2B meetings?
The high-quality meetings themselves help me to create these partnerships because, of course, here we generate the first steps of the partnerships, and then we have to do a lot of work. Every Wabel event involves a significant amount of work. Now, after some years, we are participating, and I can tell you that it’s a successful story, at least ours.
Please tell us more about Inalpi’s success story.
In the end, our goal is the same as our partner’s: to create a business. We are looking for new partnerships, products, and opportunities. Yes, I am confident that Wabel will prove to be a significant success for us. Of course, we plan to participate in the upcoming events as well.
What do you believe brings these new opportunities for you?
Also, the fact that all the events are based and organized in different cities, so different areas, always create new opportunities in an area in which we are not present, so I’m absolutely confident to create and generate a business in the next months.
Can you please give us an example of your success story?
I can give you a couple of examples of great and successful stories. Almost five years ago we met an important Dutch supermarket retailer, and today, after five years, we are still their partner. We first met them at Wabel, and since then, we have established a partnership for one product, followed by another, and then another. And today, we are supplying this Dutch supermarket chain with several products on private label, and we are absolutely happy about that face to the business, face to the income, and face to the partnership we have with them.
This is just one example, but I could provide more. We have met importers and distributors from several countries here, all thanks to Wabel.
Personally, I have met my importer in Denmark at Wabel, and I have also met my importer in Finland at Wabel. I’m meeting a lot of people, including distributors and importers, who are very interesting to us, both in the food service and retail sectors.
